Other Pain Management Treatments

Evaluation-based pain management options

Pacific Pain & Wellness Group evaluates a wide range of pain concerns, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain, hip pain, shoulder and arm pain, lower leg and foot pain, tendon injuries, osteoarthritis, radiculopathy, pinched nerves, sacroiliac joint pain, sciatica, migraine-related pain, and complex chronic pain patterns.

This page covers conditions and treatment needs that may not fit neatly into a single procedure page. The first step is a clinical evaluation to understand the likely pain source, prior care, imaging history, medication use, functional impact, and patient goals.

How treatment plans are selected

Pain management plans may include education, medication review, physical therapy coordination, diagnostic injections, therapeutic injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation evaluation, ketamine infusion evaluation for selected chronic pain patients, or referral when another specialty is more appropriate.

The care team does not use one standard treatment for every patient. Recommendations depend on diagnosis, safety considerations, expected benefit, prior response, and whether the treatment fits the patient's medical history and goals.

Conditions reviewed on this page

Patients may arrive with a diagnosis already in hand, or they may only know that pain is interfering with work, sleep, mobility, exercise, or daily activities. The evaluation may focus on narrowing whether pain is likely joint-related, nerve-related, spine-related, soft-tissue-related, inflammatory, post-injury, or part of a broader chronic pain pattern.

When symptoms suggest a condition outside the clinic's scope, referral or coordination with another specialist may be the most appropriate recommendation.
