A: Patients who are not eligible to receive Ketamine Infusions are those with unstable blood pressure, irregular heart rhythms, or heart disease. Additionally, patients who have a history of drug abuse or who suffer from illnesses such as schizophrenia are not eligible (Niesters et al., 2014).
Ketamine consultation appointments with Dr. Ananth are at no cost. Your treatment plan and the initial dose of ketamine is based on many factors including your individual medical history, your weight, your age, and your prior treatment history, among other factors. Your ketamine treatments from there will be adjusted based on how you respond to the initial treatment.
A: $2500 – Four IV Ketamine infusions.
- Each additional infusion after the four treatments is $500.
- Payment is collected for first four treatments, and then individually after.
Maintenance Infusion:
- $500 One session of IV Ketamine infusion
- All treatments are inclusive of intranasal or oral ketamine maintenance treatment.
- Note: Nasal or Intranasal ketamine is only offered to those who have completed a course of IV treatments.
Maintenance Membership Plans:
- If you have had excellent results in the past with ketamine infusions, and need them at certain intervals, we offer a maintenance plan.
Chronic Pain Patients:
The amount of Ketamine needed varies significantly between people, and depends on many factors. If you are interested in receiving Ketamine for your chronic pain condition, please call to discuss.
A: At the Pacific Ketamine Group, we have developed different treatment protocols that we are able to offer with a success rate currently at 80%. In most cases, we offer 4-5 high dose infusions over a 30-day period at a one week intervals and sometimes twice weekly. This depends on the patient and our evaluation. We developed this protocol for patient comfort and to minimize disruption to work activities. Intranasal ketamine maintenance is a great way to continue the lasting effects and is provided only to patients who have completed one treatment protocol.
